Together for Mila: Help a Cat Overcome Cruelty and Pain

Yesterday, a young cat was found at Taksim Square. She was lying injured at the station, unable to move. A student discovered her and reached out to us via Facebook. This is how Mila – as we lovingly named her – came into our care.

Mila is less than a year old, very gentle, and well cared for. Sadly, she has severe injuries on one front and one hind leg, both of which are badly swollen. She cannot walk and is currently being treated at a trusted veterinary clinic in Cihangir. She will remain there for at least 14 days. The vets will decide daily on the next steps – surgery might even be necessary. It is still uncertain whether her bones can fully heal. Tragically, we believe Mila’s injuries were caused by human cruelty, which makes her story even more heartbreaking.

We want to provide Mila with the best possible medical care and are therefore looking for people willing to support us with donations to cover her veterinary costs. At the same time, we hope to find her a loving forever home once she has recovered.
